| Journalist Murtada Al-Baghdadi |
In a previous post that I published years ago, I talked about the hardworking journalist, my friend, Murtada Al-Baghdadi. My intuition was correct as I followed his career in the media. He is a model for the Arab media personality, and I do not say this to praise Al-Baghdadi, but rather it is the justice he deserves, as he has proven it through his continuous activities in various fields. The media is that it is a comprehensive media, and although some of them say that comprehensiveness for the writer, artist, or media person will plunge him into a hole from which there is no way out! The saying may seem true with those who rant at the bottom of the profession, but here we are, and with Al-Baghdadi’s experience, we are faced with a successful experience, an experience that makes us raise our hat to him and applaud him with the warmth of love, as his steps were heading towards achieving an achievement that many may envy.
In the most recent achievements of our colleague Mortada Al-Baghdadi, his visit to the State of Qatar, and his participation as a journalist in the Asian Cup tournament hosted by Doha, he appeared in sports analysis programs, and in other programs that talk about politics, and he also wrote a regular column in the Gulf newspapers, and we rarely find anyone who is taken up by the Gulf press in this matter. Salute to Abu Ali, the glorious and hardworking journalist. Blessed be his endeavors in every field he ventures into. He is a source of pride for Iraq in general and for Basra in particular.
